Hawker & Roll – the Malaysian taste sensation situated in the Tauranga Crossing.

I didn’t quite know what to expect when I went to review Hawker and Roll in The Observatory at Tauranga Crossing, but all expectations I may have had were blown! Hawker and Roll is the budget-friendly street food extension of the popular Madam Woo Malaysian inspired restaurant company.

Hawker and Roll are known for their ‘Hawker rolls’- delicious fresh salad and meats all nestled in a warm Roti wrap and their laksas and inspired Malaysian cuisine.

I chose the eggplant Hawker Roll and the chicken Hawker Roll and I highly recommend either! The mix of texture through the mung-beans and crunchy noodles with the warm meats, sauces, and spices was divine. I also indulged in some cinnamon donut bites and have zero regrets.
