There’s something pretty special about a warm cinnamon scroll, especially when it’s drizzled in dark chocolate.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting Bunhouse, a cute eatery located outside H&M and Cotton On Kids in Tauranga Crossing.

When I first got to Bunhouse, I was immediately drawn to the cabinet of delicious looking buns varying from the classic Cinnamon scrolls to others drizzled in white chocolate or apple

I was shopping with my friend Rata, and after exhausting ourselves from trying on clothes, we found ourselves needing a well-earned snack so we headed to Bunhouse.

We spent quite a while debating which scrolls to try as there were a variety of delicious toppings to choose from. Rata opted for the classic cinnamon scroll while I went for the chocolate and nut scroll!

Bunhouse is a hidden gem. It’s not in the main food area, but once you try it and know where it is, we can be sure you’ll definitely be back for more.

The Bunhouse was clearly a popular spot as while we were there, there was a steady influx of people ordering coffee and warm scrolls which we found out are all baked daily at Bunhouse, no wonder they tasted so good. The lovely lady serving us mentioned their coffee was so popular, as it is made with the award-winning, Sacred Grounds coffee beans.

The Bunhouse is open everyday from 9am – 6pm! Check it out next time you’re at the Tauranga Crossing!
